What is Sony Green Partner
Green Partner is a form of recognition from Sony for its environmentally friendly suppliers. Suppliers must adopt a strict green product management system and comply with the requirements of SS-00259 standard. Only when suppliers meet both of the above conditions can they obtain Sony's certification certificate and be included in the Green Partner list.
The core goal of a green product management system is to fully control the product lifecycle, covering all aspects from procurement, production to delivery, effectively managing and reducing the risk of introducing environmentally friendly substances into products. Especially in Sony's supply chain management, Green Partner certification plays an important role. It is based on Sony's SS-00259 technical standard to ensure that suppliers can continuously provide products that meet environmental requirements. This type of certification helps to enhance customers' trust in the environmental performance of products, and is an important manifestation of enterprises actively fulfilling social responsibilities and pursuing sustainable development.
